If you want to build a career with a growing company that values people and empowers high performers, you’ll feel right at home here.About the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated Outside Sales Territory Manager to lead equipment sales across Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino Counties, operating out of our Eureka Branch.This is a high-impact, field-focused role where you will own your territory, build deep customer relationships, and grow your market. You’ll represent the full line of Bobcat equipment and complementary products—supporting customers who depend on us to keep their jobs moving and their operations running strong.What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow your assigned territory through consistent outreach, relationship-building, and customer support.
- Make 50+ in-person customer touches and 25+ phone calls weekly.
- Prospect daily using CRM tools, sales data, and field interactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with current customers while aggressively pursuing new accounts.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations, present solutions, and prepare accurate quotes.
- Achieve monthly targets for new, used, and compact tractor sales.
- Participate in local marketing events and join relevant associations to grow your network.
- Keep digital listings accurate and up to date; manage all paperwork promptly.
- Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Parts, Service, and Management to provide seamless support.
- Maintain 100% daily CRM utilization and an organized follow-up process.
- Understand competitive offerings and leverage product knowledge to position Iconic Machinery as the superior choice.
- Handle equipment loading/off-loading and basic transport as needed.
- Proven success in outside sales—equipment, agriculture, construction, industrial, or similar preferred.
- Driven, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in the field the majority of the time.
- Ability to learn equipment, attachments, and dealership systems (DealerNET, Bobcat University, Dealer Dashboard, CRM, etc.).
- Strong organizational and planning skills with consistent follow-through.
- Capable of operating, demonstrating, and safely handling equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience selling compact equipment, ag equipment, tractors, or machinery.
- Existing customer relationships in Del Norte, Humboldt, or Mendocino Counties.
- Knowledge of Bobcat or other major equipment brands.
- CRM power-user or strong digital sales skills.
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission earning potential.

You’ll coordinate across Parts, Service, and Store Operations to maintain high standards for workflow efficiency, facility presentation, and customer support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and supporting customers who rely on their equipment every day.What You’ll DoStore Management & Leadership
- Oversee daily dealership operations to ensure smooth coordination across all departments.
- Manage schedules, time-off requests, and timesheet approvals.
- Conduct quarterly conversations and annual performance reviews.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility.
- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve.
- Lead all Parts Department functions, including inventory management and team support.
- Respond to online and phone parts inquiries.
- Assist customers with over-the-counter parts sales.
- Handle ordering, receiving, and shipping of parts.
- Pull parts for technicians and support Service Department needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and organization.
- Supervise service technicians and manage daily workflow.
- Respond to online and phone service requests.
- Oversee service scheduling to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
- Create repair orders and support the service point-of-sale process.
- Ensure warranty documentation is completed and submitted accurately.
- Prepare timely, accurate service quotes.
- Maintain shop organization and monitor technician efficiency.
- 3–5 years of dealership, equipment, or operations experience (preferred).
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of parts and service operations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Customer-service-oriented with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in equipment dealerships or similar industrial environments.
- Background in operational leadership or multi-department management.
- Familiarity with warranty processing or service workflow optimization.
