When the Northern California Reined Cow Horse Association (NCRCHA) brought the 2026 Doug Ingersoll Memorial Spectaculars to Rolling Hills Equestrian Center in Corning, we loaned the crew a three-seat Bobcat UV34 utility vehicle. They put it right to work delivering water and snacks to exhibitors, shuttling judges and scribes to the arenas, and moving trail obstacles.
Kelly Hamblin of NCRCHA usually makes those rounds in her one-ton pickup. After a weekend with the UV34, she told us, “It made getting around the facility so much easier and helped keep our show running smoothly.” She added, “I may have a hard time going back to my pickup after this!”
Talking Bobcat equipment with our neighbors
While one UV34 was out helping the show crew, we had another Bobcat UV34 utility vehicle, a Bobcat CT2025 compact tractor, and a Bobcat UW56 Toolcat utility work machine at our booth.
Our team members Zach Perkins and Rob Wolfe helped visitors get a closer look at the machines, answered questions, and talked through how each one could help with everyday jobs around a ranch, barn, or acreage. We also brought coloring sheets for kids and invited families to join our Junior Builders coloring contest.
We’ve been a family-owned Bobcat dealer since 1975, and today we serve Northern California from 10 locations. Local events like this give us a chance to meet the people who live and work here, hear about the jobs they’re tackling, and give them a familiar face to look for the next time they have an equipment question.
Supporting the people who make the show happen
The event honors Doug Ingersoll, who gave his time and encouragement to youth and non-pro riders. NCRCHA reported 133 horse entries on Saturday and 71 on Sunday, and we were glad to help the crew keep things moving behind the scenes.
Thank you to Kelly and the NCRCHA team for welcoming us, and to everyone who stopped by to meet Zach and Rob. We enjoyed spending the weekend with you in Corning and look forward to seeing you at the next local event.
